Identity Safe > Fill with Identity Card will not Validate my pw.  Password is deemed Incorrect.

Reported two pages so far...posting this Topic to see if any one else has similar experience.

My Identity Safe pw is max 21 characters.  Fill with Identity Card appears to be limited to max 18 characters.

IDK if 21 v 18 is issue.  Just that since NIS12, I have not been able to use Cards.  Validate deems password Incorrect?   I may access/unlock/validate Cards via NIS12 UI ...OK.  Just at pages requiring to use Cards ~ Validate will not Validate my pw.  (Cards are pw protected from NIS11 profile).   NIS11 had option to create separate Cards pw.  NIS12 appears to use one password.  My 21 characters pw works for all other ID Safe functions.  Just cannot use Cards.   Too bad....minor glitch (I hope) ~ major inconvenience.

Can you please try the same feature with our Online Vault by creating an Online Profile and importing your cards over there.

Hi,

Major diffrence between 2011 and 2012 

In 2012 validate password is same as Identity safe login password 

In 2011 you can set different password to  validate card.

I am aware of major difference... I'm experiencing major difference.

I cannot Validate > Fill with Identity Card with my 21 character pw

Are you aware ... Fill with Identity Card is limited to max 18 characters

If this is my only option....I will reluctantly try.

Prefer at this time to determine whether my issue is limited to only me. 

Or, if other users with 21 character ID Safe pw are able to Validate ~ Fill with Identity Card.

Additions & Corrections

From > Fill with Identity Card box

I do not hear a ding at 18 indicating max characters.

I do not hear a ding at 21 indicating max characters.

18 as max number of characters is reaching, is presuming.  Based upon facts not in evidence.

18 characters renders 18 dots...with additional characters ~ I do not see additional dots. 

This may/may not be proof of max characters.  I will take two steps back now.  Apologies...

The only non techie observation I may offer is my 21 character ID Safe password is deemed Incorrect by > Fill with Identity Card

To date my 21 character ID Safe Password (from NIS11 profile) Validates all ID Safe OK. 

Except for > Fill with Identity Card

If this issue is solely my issue.  Then, I will try a new profile and import .dat.
