SeaMonster:
Did you not have the option for support, either through Fix Now, or through Help & Support>Get support?
Is there an indication that scans were not running, or pulse update was not working which would have triggered the alert?

Hi Sea_Monster,
Try this fix:
If this does not solve the issue contact Technical Support and explain your situation.

SeaMonster, I don't think we can know what the error is until you allow it to get to support. You should not be in trouble going only to the Norton support sight. At this point in time, we don't know if you have an error because of a update connection problem, a glitch in your subscription, or a lack of a full system scan.
You will need to reinstall Norton and then go to customer service chat to correct your subscription. Perhaps they can assist in tracing the other problem.
