As of this morning, my Windows 7 64-bit is also on 19.5.0.145, after some file downloads and 2 reboots.
However, I am now having problems with 2 bank log-ins. If I use the link from the Norton Toolbar without first going to the website, I get a failed log-in error. This is the first bank, it has username and password.
The second bank has username, security number and password. There it will only fill the username, where it used to fill username and password before.

Senthil,
Thank you for taking up this issue and for your PM alerting me about the existence of is thread. At least I can see this is not a problem exclusive to my system. The amazing thing to me is this is an issue that existed for a while with NIS 2011 and it was resolved at the time. Then NIS 2012 came along but the issue remained solved. And now, surprisingly (at least to me), this recent NIS 2012 update (19.5) brings back the old issue that had been resolved months ago... It almost invites remembering the old saying about weeds being hard to exterminate... ![]()
We will be patiently waiting for the results of Symantec's investigation, even though it must be greatly facilitated by looking at the patch originally applied last year to the exact same problem .

I have just "upgraded" to NIS 2012 from NIS 2011. I am running Windows 7 and have tried both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Neither browser will prompt to save logins from websites with a two-step, two-page login. NIS 2011 did. I am attempting to access https://www.bankofamerica.com/ and https://www.usbank.com/index.html
It is not prompting me to save my login information at all. NIS 2011 worked perfectly. Why the downgrade in NIS 2012? Is there a fix for this? Can I go back to NIS 2011 if there is no fix?

Hi David we;come to the norton community. The id safe logins for two page logins for BOA and US BANK are known problems that norton is aware of . Also you can report the problem logins by clicking on id safe >report issue then fill in the info in the next page ALF60

After a lot of effort on the part of Norton in this thread, and a lot of time and effort on my part the Norton Toolbar is now available to my in Firefox 10.1 on my Win 7, 64 bit computer. I have a new difficulty though and I hope someone here can help me with the new problem.
When I log into a particular bank site, the ID safe does not fill in the log in ID, and it always has in the past. In fact, I have another computer with NIS on it and when I log into this particular bank using that older computer, NIS fills in the login ID for me. Not so with the latest NIS on this computer.
I transfered the log in ID data from my older computer to the new one but the result is the same.
When I log into other sites, the log in ID is filled in as it always has but at this particular site nothing happens.
Any thoughts or suggestions? I have looked at the address and it appears to be the same as listed in the norton ID data.

Here is the url for the bank site I am having no joy with ID login.
https://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb/m2u/common/M2ULog
I will also try to report it within the Norton toolbar as you suggested.
