A bit more info would be helpful, such as OS and SP #, Browser used and Version, Norton Product and Version (Support > About),  also did you install/update any other programs?

We'll be waiting for your response.

Re: Identity safe

Please give us more information on the issue you are facing.

1) Are facing autofill issues.(Logins which you had stored in Identity Safe is not autofilled when you visit the website again).

2) Are facing this issue for all the Logins you had stored in Identity Safe or only for few websites?

3) If you are using 64-BIT OS then please launch Internet Explorer from the path C:\Progam Files(X86)\Internet Explorer\.

Norton ToolBar is not support in 64-BIT IE.

4) Check whether Norton ToolBar is enabled in your browser? (Click on "Tools"->"Manage Add-ons" and check whether

Norton ToolBar is enabled. If its shown disabled then please enable it. If its shown not compatible then please run

Liveupdate repeatedly until you get all the latest updates and later check the behavior.

A related problem

[ Edited ]

Dear Norton people,

As you work on restoring the log in ID function for banks and other sites I want to mention a related problem. My log in ID does work with some (non - bank) sites. However if I go to some of these having freshly started my computer, I do not get the pop up prompt to enter my password to get ID safe started. Instead, I have to click on the Norton symbol on the task bar and make my way through your software to enter the password - then ID safe will fill in the password for the site.

As you fix the major problem I hope you will also address this slightly annoying issue as well.

By the way, I would like to mention my appreciation that it is possible with you (Norton)  to have more or less direct contact with the people who can actuall fix this (and other) issues instead of speaking to some clueless "technical support" moron in a foreign country. This is how it works with just about every other software company in my experience. You just hope he/she will pass along the issue to the people who can really fix a problem. If they even understand what the problem is to begin with!

For those here who make disparaging comments to and about Norton, I suggest you keep this in mind. Good manners please and don't spoil a good thing!

Thanks - Bruce (an American living/working in Malaysia)

Confused about Feb 14 Product Update

@Tim Lopez, when I read your Feb 14 post about the latest product update, I thought it meant the ID Safe problems with 2-page logins was corrected.  I'm still having problems with those sites (Bank of America, Vanguard).  Are you still working on this?  I hope answer is YES.

Re: Confused about Feb 14 Product Update

Hello KBPrez,

Yes, we're still working on it. As mentioned in THIS POST, the update you're talking about didn't contain any bug fixes or functionality changes.

We'll keep this thread updated when we have more information.

Cheers,

Re: Identity safe

In answer to your questions of 2-13-2012 Operating System is Wiindows 7 , Norton Internet Security initially purchased 2009 (recently updated), Browser Internet Explorer 9. There are three sites that neither fill in logins nor ask if logins should be saved, all other sites work fine. The affected sites were working ok but just didnt work all of a sudden. No new programs were installed and no other changes were made to OS or Browser Thanks Frank

Re: Identity safe

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

1) Can you please mention the version number of Norton Internet Security installed in your machine. (Check version number under "Support"->"About")

2) If possible please mention the URLs on which you are facing the issue.
