I bought a renewal on my previous NIS 2011 but lost the computer it was installed on. Now need to reinstall 3 copies on three PCs and only have a renewal code from my Norton Account, no product key. How do I get a product key for my NIS 2012?

I don't quite understand the difference but if the renewal code is in the same format as a new KEY -- same number of characters then it should work since KEYs are backward and forward compatible. Have you tried it and found it did not work? You indicate you now want to install NIS 2012 on 3 PCs -- was the old renewal key for 3 PCs also?
Can you access the MyNortonAccount still if you created that under the "lost" computer? If so and it shows the previous product and its renewal then you can access that MyNortonAccount from each of the 3 computers in turn and use the Download button to download and install an already activated copy of the current NIS 2012.

If so go ahead with that provided the 3 PCs you mention do not have any other security software installed -- many new PCs cocme with a trial installation and if so and if it's not the same Norton exactly as you want to install then you need special instructions on how to remove and clean up with a tool you can download specifically for that software. If this is the case let us know exactly what brand of security software was installed.
If you don't want to do the download & install from MyNortonAccount we can give you a link to download a freestanding installation file that you can save and use 3 times on the PCs.

Is your Norton initial purchase and the Renewal made with two different email's or Norton Accounts? if yes, please check for the Product Key under your Initial Norton Account. If you are unable to sign-in to that account, please contact our Support.
