Re: NIS2012 crashing with changes in firewall

HI graemeg,

Are you also experiencing this problem?  So far, there has been only this one report of the issue.  Most users do not add programs to the Program Control list, and if they do, it would be unusual for them to add as many as the OP in this thread has done.

Re: NIS2012 crashing with changes in firewall

I too am having the same problem. Have reported this in another thread. As soon as I try to change a programs access I get the same error and NIS quits

The two threads concerning this issue have been brought to Symantec's attention.

Re: NIS2012 crashing with changes in firewall

I have been using NIS 2011 again. I have a lot more firewall entries than before but not a single problem with the current setup. NIS 2011 "feels" relatively lighter and smoother to operate. The irony is I was given two packages of NIS 2012 this December. Well, well...
