As my name implies, I've become confused. I bought a new PC and removed the installed security software. I then went to norton.com/nis2012 and tried to download a copy of NIS2012. Somehow I ended up getting a trial copy of NIS2013. I uninstalled the trial and went into My Account App and logged into Norton Management. I clicked on the install tab and it installed the full version of NIS2013. Do I need to uninstall NIS2013, run the NRT, then download and install NIS2012? From where?

Hi,
After you uninstall NIS2013, run the removal tool and download a copy of NIS12 from http://www.norton.com/nis12. Remember to run Live Update, restarting where required, until no more updates are available.

Krusty13 - looks like it worked this time.. must be because I followed your instructions.. NIS2012 is up and running. Maybe a few weeks I'll go to NIS2013, but looks like too many problem post right now. Maybe Norton will even reverse their decision and put the local Identity Safe back on the PC, instead of some cloud somewhere..
