No unfortunately- please notice the URL address is FTP not HTTP
There is no FTP service available in Michigan thru sbcglobal.net DSL service.
No FTP Application will work thru HTTP
What i need is one of the board admins that has access to my email to upload the tool to my email
and send it to me there is absolutely no other way for me to get the NRT.
Even my local public library cannot provide FTP.

that seems strange that you would not be able to access ftp. ftp is used in many places, and is used for file transfers. is this the same computer your using at the library and through your isp? you might have something on your computer blocking your ftp ports.
ive never heard of isps [especially someone big like sbcglobal] blocking ftp. thats really weird.

Its not that SBCGLOBAL blocks FTP the simply dont provide it in the great lakes region.
Now if someone cares wether or not i can get a proper install of of nsw/nav software please upload the NRT to medialfire.com megaupload.com and PM the Link to me please.
Below is the individual who couldnt help me at norton chat support but for $100 per hour he can help
The uploads of this tool that are out there are expired by other people who did give a crap.
I've paid norton $300usd in the last 4 yrs is my money no good to symantec anymore for a 1.2 meg file?

This my reply:
Unfortuanately for me there was no help, the individual can only do what you tell him/her to do-also misfortune and disappointment for me.
My ISP doesnt allow me to download the Norton Removal Tool from symantec ftp server.
If the tool were on a http server there would be no problem.
And if symantec really gave a rip about their customers they would make their tools available by ftp/http/ddl/email.
All your service rep had to do is attach the nrt to the email your techy sent or even this email and i'd be happy.
You really dont want me to fill out any surveys regarding you extremely lacking unintuitive service.
I've been along time customer with norton and i think you guys have really taken a big crap on your non commercial customers.
At this time i am so angry i need to quit typing now,

sorry about how mad you are. remember these are user to user forums. you really should look in to the ftp thing because ftp is the number #2 popular protocol with http being number #1. if they wont let you do ftp i would find someone else because im sure youll run in to more problems in the future, especially since microsoft uses ftp sometimes for security hotfixes and browser places like mozilla uses ftp to download firefox.
i googled "norton removal tool http" and these were the 3rd and 4th links-
both of them look like they're on http servers. let me know if this helps.
