I can't find any phone numbers on norton's site to contact someone for information regarding an inquiry about a purchase I want to make .
I need to purchase NIS 2010 for somebody else and I need to have it on CD, NOT a download.
They have a very slow dial up connection and I would prefer to install it from CD. Also, I want him to have the CD in case there's a problem so it can be easily re installed,etc.
I saw that you could order the NIS 2010 CD from amazon, but it won't be available until Sept. 30.

Hi Itsme,
I don't think that CD is available even in Symantec Store now. However, if you want, you can purchase a download, copy the installation file to a CD and keep it for installation in future.

Thanks for your help.
The norton e mail wouldn't work because they wanted only the subjects listed (which means I'd have to have the person's license key and other info from the person that I'm going to install the program,etc.) and none of the subjects matched my inquiry.
I could have sent them an e mail for them to call me, but again, I would have to be at said person's house to do this properly.
No phone number where I could contact them was available there.
My solution was to order NIS 2010 from someone else that supposed to have NIS 2010 on CD on Sep. 30 th.
So, I'll just wait to receive it on CD rather than try to download the program from norten with his slow dial up speed ( it would take more than 6 hours, IF he didn't get kicked off or get a glitch in it by then!) or trying to download to a disc and take another chance that it won't load up on his computer and/or have a glitch.
