Need security utility recommendation or does NIS/Symantec have this?

I'll be relocating overseas and shipping 3 PCs.

I want to securely wipe the HDs before packing the units.  It is my plan to restore the PCs data content from network (NAS) image backups when delivered at the destination.  The utility I am looking for should boot from a floppy/CD/DVD and allow hard drive wiping without removing the partition struture of the drives.  (This will make later recovery easier for me.)  [Note, I have already tested my disaster recovery.  It works.  I am using RAID 1 NAS along with an USB 2.0 external mirror of the NAS.  They will travel as airline luggage with me.  So, I think I have covered by bases.]

Thanks for your help!

Mark,

I'm commenting just so you know that you're not being ignored. I'm not sure why you want to retain the partition structure on the wiped drives when the image you make may be able to do the job. I use the Ghost Recovery CD to make images of my test drives so that when something blows up or locks up I can do a quick rebuilld and try to do better on the next round.

keep with us and we'll find a way, if it's possible :smileywink:
