New Computer Installation

I am using all 3 of my users on different computers.  Today I received my new laptop and tried to load Norton using my existing product key but was unable to.  Do I need to delete Norton from my old computer so I can load it on to the new one?

Thanks.

Hi Earhead,

Yes, in order to keep and re-use your Norton licence, you have to remove Norton from your old machine. If you still cannot load Norton on your new machine, then contact Symantec Customer Service at the link below (for US and Canada) and explain the situation to them, and they will be able to reset your activations. You can use the chat feature for free:

PS: Make sure to remove any preinstalled antivirus software from your new laptop before installing Norton.

Re: New Computer Installation

HI Earhead,

Also please be sure to use a removal tool to ensure complete removal of your old security software before attempting to install your Norton software.

Best wishes.

Re: New Computer Installation

Just as long as you keep your 3 licenses only on 3 PCs you should be fine
