NIS 2012 LU just downloaded & installed this new version.  What is new?  Features, bug fixes, etc.?

First I received a large live update (about 35MB) with a new NIS engine. No reboot was needed but I restarted my Computer and the version was still 19.5.0.145. With the next manual live update three updates were downloaded (a pulse update and two MUI updates) and this time a reboot was required. After the reboot the version number was 19.6.1.8.

What I noticed was that the spelling mistake (see my post http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/Spelling-mistake-in-Norton-Tasks-Iden...) is fixed and that there is a battery icon in front of the configure option. The Norton Task still failed to complete.

I'm curious was what more has been changed?

Currently the patch release of NIS/NAV 19.6.1.8 is for English users only. Other localized versions will receive the patches soon.

We will keep you informed regarding the localized patch release via Forums.

What's new includes "Corrected  Reputation Scan failure" 

It does not? On, a Win 7 64b machine. 

Scan just hangs and reports ".. Cannot connect to server..." Which is false!

This error has been been discussed many, many times, for 6 months.  Unfortunately, most of the topics are marked as "Solved" which is false.
