It's not necessarily something that I think a lot of people will have problems with. While Spybot S&D and WinPatrol were active and running at the same time on the computer (I disabled those before installing), there were also many remnants of Norton Beta software left on the computer. It could have been that an old beta driver was on that wasn't being over-written, and the privileges for C:\ProgramData\Norton were assigned to a separate user without admin rights. It was just a few things I corrected then ran the installer again, and it installed and launched fine. 

My suggestions for Habylab were that if anything went wrong after the installation, to uninstall Spybot S&D and WinPatrol, reboot, and see if that fixes the issue. Hopefully this was attempted.

I have uninstalled both, still reporting issues with Gmail

Ok, its a weird problem. In the add on called "SimpleMail" It can refresh each of my email accounts indidually (One gmail, one plusnet), but together, gmail can't connect. Didn't used to do this before Norton NIS. Settings I need to change, or something similar?

Also, Spybot I can understand uninstalling, as it really isn't that good anymore, but WinPatrol? Is there any better alternatives, because I find it useful for quickly changing start up items, and dismissing unwanted ones.

Sorry, it looks like they made some more changes to the forum overnight. They took away my line when I wanted to quote something and hitting quote ended up with it quoting something other than what I wanted to quote.

Since you mentioned that you have changed start up items and changing unwanted ones, perhaps you changed something that was necessary for your features to work.
