The question is: what does it 'update' to? NIS 16.7.2.10 again? This I do not want. After 'upgrading' to 16.7.2.10 from my stable 16.5.0.135 without knowing (apparently done via live update) and getting all the same problems/crashes as everyone else, I am now back to NIS 2008 installed from my original NIS disk. I am frankly afraid to download the update out of concern it will revert back to 16.7.2.10 along with all of its problems. That is one nightmare I don't want to relive.
Hi Huntress
The original patch was pulled and a new patch will be released shortly that will not have the issues you experienced so it should be safe to go back to that build of NIS2009. The patch will be delivered via liveupdate.
NAV and NIS 2010 should release in the not too distant future and, if you have a valid subscription to your current NIS, you can upgrade for free.

Ok, well it's been a week, or so, and I'm still sitting on V 16.1.0.33. No sign of it updating to V !6.5. Is it ever likely to, or am I going to have to download !6.5 AGAIN !
Sorry it hasn't got to you. It hasn't got to me either. Please be patient for a little longer, it will get to you in the next few days.
