Hi jrp1875,
Can you tell us what type of trouble you are having with NAV 2009?
If you could tell us your operating system and service pack, that would be helpful.
And also let us know if you are running any other security program.
Thanks.

This is the thread about the problem I'm having on multiple machines.
http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message?b
The culprit seems to be the combination of Norton 09 and the latest release of Spysweeper. Both compnaies says its the other one's fault and all machines work with one or the other.
Note: Spysweeper works fine with Norton 08

jrp1875,
I am not 100% sure if you can use a 2009 key for the 2008 product, so rather than give you incorrect information I would like to direct you to online chat here.
Best Wishes.

Hi,
this should be no problem, because the key you get with your N 2009 is a subscription key for NIS or NAV (what you bought) so there's no problem to go backwards to 08 if you experienced problems with the 09-line.

Your info is absolutely correct. I am installing 2008 on 2 seperate machines right now using their 2009 Keys. I will post back tomorow with the results (to eliminate ny other possiblities for anyone else who may be experienceing the same problems).
Thanks again to the both of you,
JR
