I reccently updated to Norton 2010 and I'm attempting to play Dragon Age, but every 2-5 minutes Norton Anti virus keeps opening itself, making the game freeze so I have to minimize it and re open it to carry on playing. Norton also does this when I'm not running the game, and is making my computer operate at snail pace. It doesn't even appear to be running a scan, the menu just opens. How can I make Norton stop doing this, and use less of my CPU power to make my computer actually usable again? I've tried turning idle scans off and putting it on quiet mode, and neither of these make any difference.

Sounds like a version of the Full Screen Bug that exists in the current version of NIS. No fix yet, unfortunately, and it's been a long time now.
