As a home-user, I have been using 360 for some time, however, I have no further use for the remote back-up facilities and wondered if NIS would now provide satisfactory security.
Any views?
Regards.....
PS perhaps this is not the right place for the question!

Hi, I am also considering going to NIS. I am using a local back up. The 360 has the de frag, registry cleaner, and disk clean up also. If you use any of those you might consider keeping 360 but other than that the protection is the same with firewall, antivirus,
identity safe and browser protection, etc. That's my view!!

Try this link:
http://us.norton.com/products/charts/comparison.js
basically norton 360 is the same as internet security but it has added features which are Backup and Tune Up :)

Many thanks KMoore and dannay for your speedy and useful responses. The comparison, dannay, is most useful.
Clearly, in my case the only benefit of 360 over NIS is the simplicity of the clean-up/tune-up facilities.
Regards and thank you both again.....Noel

For me NIS is a big deal.
If you don't need backup, you can use NIS.
There are great free tools with registry cleaner and disk clean up.
So why not save money and use NIS instead of N360 ?
