Norton Insight Error

When I try refreshing the Norton insight I got an error that says error connection to server even though I can connect to the internet (obviously)

In addition, the Norton Insight submission operation keeps canceling see below:

Re: Norton Insight Error

I have attatched a sysprotlog.  If you are interested.  Can you also check if I'm infected?

I don't see anything untoward in your log. The Norton Insight error may well just be a failure at the Insight Server end although I am able to connect to it OK.

Re: Norton Insight Error

SysProt shows no RootKits.  You could try clearing your DNS catche and the in about 30 minutes (it takes Windows awhile to reset the catche) try the Insight server again.

You can try to flush your DNS

Click Start > Run, type ipconfig /flushdns and click OK.
Then type ipconfig /registerdns and click OK.

Re: Norton Insight Error

Nevermind.  The problem seem to be fix itself. :smileywink:

I refreshed the Norton insight and it connected to the server.  Will wait 24 hrs for Norton Insight submission to try again.

Glad to know I'm not infected.
