I have Norton Internet Security 2012 running on win 7 64 ... Until very recently, Insight was working. Today I noticed that its not and when I clicked on Application ratings it says"cannot collect the necessary data because it cannot connect to the Symantec
Server. Please ensure that your computer is connected to the internet and try again". Also when I go to system insight and click on any update or installs you have the option of holding your cursor over it for more details... and you can click on it and file insight comes up saying "no internet connection, please check your connection and try again. Rest assured I have internet connection, My Norton is updated and my internet is fine. What could be the issue?

It could be a routing issue from your ISP to Symantec's servers, meaning that while others can access them fine, user(s) affected by the issue would not be able to do so.
I have seen other users with the same problem on the forum who were able to solve it by an uninstall of the program followed by a reinstall. Don't know what can cause the issue there, but some kind of conflict. Those shouldn't happen with a well-coded program, of course, but apparently they do.
