Norton Internet Security 2009 Crash

I have Norton Internet Security 2009 installed on my computer, but for some reason it won't start. There comes just blank screen or nothing..... What am i able to do?

There is nothing else wrong, than my NIS 2009 doesn't start. If i remember correctly, that happened after i restarted my computer because of Norton updates.

I would suggest that you upgrade to NIS 2010 (this is free to you if you have a valid subscription).

Go to here to do an in-place upgrade www.symantec.com/nuc

it just says that i have latest version installed. So it is not working now... is there any way to reinstall it without CD?

You can download the full NIS 2010 installation package from over here:

http://www.norton.com/nis10

Save it to your desktop, and if you're in Vista, right-click on the icon, select "run as administrator" and let it install NIS 2009 - it will remove NIS 2009, reboot your computer, and install itself. Please be patient during the procedure :-) NIS 2010 should pick up your NIS 2009 key automatically during activation.

No, you just picked the wrong option

GO back to the page

Select "Choose my product manually"

On the next page choose "Norton Internet Security "and choose "2009" then hit continue.

You will now get to a 2010 is available page. Choose continue and on the next page choose Start Download.

I'm from finland and when i select language to finnish, it says that Norton is up-to date.

Try downloading and saving the NIS 2010 Finnish trial version to your computer from here:
