Good Afternoon:
Today, I updated from NIS 2011 to NIS 2012. The installation went well; however I have the following question:
I noticed after the download and installation, that I had a 'Norton Installation Files' shortcut on my desktop, as well as a 'Norton Installation Files' folder in my 'All Programs.' Should I keep these files? Can I send the desktop shortcut to the recycle bin?
Thanks,
John

Hi Securityfan
The "Norton Installation Files'" folders will have the setup file and the virus definition for the same.
If you don't want and want to free up some space on the hard drive, you can delete them.
Also you can delete the desktop shortcut, it is not coping to cause any issue to the Norton product.
Thanks
