I have a problem trying to install NIS on Windows 7 x64 with IE8 and now IE9. In bot cases symptoms are the same; initial part of installation is going fine, then installer hangs after Install part and before Account part of process. It stays on with spinning wheel being displayed for few minutes and then quits without completion. From what I can see installation is complete as process ccSvcHst is started. At this time I can't also use IE, as it hangs on opening home page and is not responsive (can only be killed via task manager). Solution is to kill also ccSvcHst process. NIS toolbar is visible, but it is not possible to log on to Vault. From this point the only solution to get to fully functioning environment is to uninstall NIS. Any advise?

Did you have any other antivirus software installed before installing NIS? If so, you will have to fully remove that program using the uninstall utility from that company.
Where did you get your copy of NIS? Download, CD?
