Hi there,
Norton Internet Security has decided to dip into my archives and delete the installer for an old program. This program is completely harmless. I know because I operated it on my computer without incident for two years with Norton installed. Right now I don't have this program installed but I'd like to keep the installer just in case I decide to install it again in the future.
However, because I refuse to consent to the final elimination of the installer, Norton flashes a warning every five minutes or so. And Norton will not give me the option to restore the installer. It says on the bottom, "Removed files are quarantined, click here to restore." But when I click there, it gives me an empty list and no option to restore.
How do I force Norton to restore this file? I can understand that Norton doesn't want people making stupid decisions. But there needs to be an override.
Thank you!
Matt

Seriously, I need an answer to this. This is not a minor problem. The Norton "Action Required" box is still flashing at over 24 hours later. The only alternative I have is to uninstall Norton. And even then I'm worried that I will have lost these very important and very expensive files.
If no one here can answer this question, can someone please point me to someone who can?

Does Norton have a customer service line so that I can talk to someone about my problem?
