Norton Network Details

My computer network has been compromise and under network details "Gateway Physical Address" no longer appears. This allows u to see what device is actually bringing u to the internet with the actual mac address that is on the device. Can someone tell me how to restore this feature and any other commands I can use to view my connection to the network, including network adapters and registry setting that could be compromise.

Re: Norton Network Details

what product do you have loaded?

Where are you going to see "Network details"

Is this a Norton issue?

Re: Norton Network Details

I am using the Norton Security provided thru Comcast and have windows XP media edition operating system. Under Map Network for network details it will display the details of your adapter and physical gateway address which is the Mac address on your router or modem. I notice it was giving me a Mac address that isn't mine. I had voice this problem outloud, now I get no gateway physical address at all. Its like when I get connected to the internet I am going thru another computer to reach the internet. I disable wireless zero configuration, remote settings, and under the wireless adapter settings itself only the TCP protocol and wlan adapter settings are check. I cannot connect to the internet with out the WLAN adapter being check. Can I delete WLAN Adapter and install something different if needed.
