Just got a new laptop (Windows 7 Home) and I'm trying to install Norton Internet Security 2011 onto it and all I get is a message saying that Norton is incompatable with this version of Windows.
What can I do??
Why isn't it working??
We are able to install it on the (Windows XP) PC easily but this is causing a headache!
HELP PLEASE!

Hello!
Norton Internet Security is perfectly compatible with Windows 7.
Where did you get the Norton product you are trying to install?
Try to download the installer directly:
Or, you can get the latest version, NIS 2012, instead. Your activation code for NIS 2011 will work with NIS 2012 as well.

Welcome to the norton community. It looks like you have a new computer that may have a security program already installed on your new computer so you should uninstall that first. Before you unstall you should disconnect from the internet to keep from getting infected from the internet. It may be blocking the install of your norton. Then install your norton program and then run live update with a restart when it tells you. ALF60
