Hi, when I turned my PC on today I was met with a orange ! on the task bar, it told me to do a quick scan (which is running) but I was wondering why, should I be worried about malware or something? Or is this normal if you haven't scanned in a few days?

EDIT: Scan finished and it found nothing, the last scan was on the 8th, so I am going to guess that is the reason of the warning.

Hi

   You're correct, if the scan was not at all done in the past few days you'll get orange exclamation mark next to the Norton icon at the bottom. When you run the scan it'll check for updates and then it'll do the scan followed by PC Tune up (Temporary internet file cleanup and Windows temporary file cleanup). That'll do it.
