Hello bordersfairlawn and welcome!
To the best of my knowledge, MS Office Live will not allow you to upload the HTML file to the Root Directory of your website, so most folks add the code to a meta tag.
The only way to use the automated verification process with a meta tag is to create a new meta tag with the name: norton-safeweb-site-verification and the content to include your 128 character authentication code. If you cannot create a new meta tag, only the code should be added to your keywords tag.
I can see an attempt to paste the entire Norton Safe Web meta tag in place, however somewhere along the line, things got a bit mixed up.
1) I would first start by removing this content from your current keywords meta tag:
<meta name="norton-safeweb-site-verification" content="10jsc7iyk9kz3pvf5x3vk-dh7oql-s-7foa2
10jsc7iyk9kz3pvf5x3vk-dh7oql-s-7foa2mdq075iwpd-z-t
2) Once that is done, please add just the 128 character code to your current keywords tag separating entires with a comma. When through it should look like this:
Poets Writers People, 10jsc7iyk9kz3pvf5x3vk-dh.............
3) When done, click OK and Save your page.
Let me know when you have completed this step and I will be happy to check the code for you. Please understand that adding the code to your keywords will not allow for the automated verification process, but will require manual intervention from the Safe Web Team.

Phil_D, Guru
I went ahead and took out all the errors and followed your directions. Do I need to notify the Safe Web Team? Thank you for all your help in the matter.

The authentication code in your keywords meta tag is properly placed and I shall notify the Safe Web team who will manually verify site ownership. Allow them a day or two to respond back to you in this thread.
Once ownership has been verified, your site will be queued for the rating evaluation.
Be sure the code remains in place until ownership is verified. Leaving the code in the meta tag will not affect your site or the visitor's experience.
Best wishes for your website!
