Norton Safe Web site verification

In April, I entered my site address into your Norton Safe Web Site - where it asks 'is this site safe?'.  It told me that my site had not yet been tested - it also stated that my site was then scheduled for testing.  I keep waiting for it to be tested.

Now when I check, it simply states that my site has not been tested yet.  It no longer states that my site has been scheduled for testing.

Do I have to go through the site owner authentication to now have my site evaluated and rated?

Can you please queue my site for evaluation and rating.  www.lewasdesign.com

Thank you very much!

Re: Norton Safe Web site verification

Hi KellyT:

I believe you have to go through the verification process as the site owner first in order to get queued for testing.

This thread may be helpful.

Re: Norton Safe Web site verification

Hi kellyt,

Please follow the steps outlined in the following location to verify ownership of your site.

http://safeweb.norton.com/help/site_owners

In the meantime, we have queued  'lewasdesign.com' for anlaysis.

This site should get rated shortly on 'safeweb.norton.com'.

Safe Web Ownership Verification

Regarding Safe Web Ownership Verification for:  www.LewasDesigns.com

I have a Yahoo Merchant Store website.

Due to the format of the Store Build, it does not allow me to create a root directory file page with an underscore "_" in it.

I have put the site ownership verification code into a subdirectory at:
http://site.lewasdesigns.com/nortonsw_66234b50-45af-0.html

Will you please verify my site ownership from this file location?

Thank you.

Re: Norton Safe Web site verification

When I try to click the email link for re-evaluation I get a popup message "Failed to add for re-evaluation" or it tells me that Norton Safeweb is unavailable.  The html file has been uploaded & I have been verified as the owner. What else do I need to do? When a site says "Site not tested" at Safeweb it should then provide a link with useful information as to the next steps that a site owner needs to take.

It takes me 2 minutes to get my site verified on Google... I've been working on this Safeweb thing for 2 days now.

Good catch and we thank you for your valuable suggestion. I will commmunicate this to our SafeWeb team. In the meantime, may I request you to post this as a feedback in the SafeWeb site as well.
