I have registered my website sharonscookwarecollection.com with Norton Safe Web and received the confirmation email. After copying & pasting the following Meta tag into my website admin homepage, Norton is still rejecting my website verification.
<meta name="norton-safeweb-site-verification" content="-8u-1ql5kp7sjio6pgp8mjeit-i2u6tlqo5-zl26w
Please advise me as to what I'm doing wrong? I don't want to see the big ? at the end of my website any longer. Thank you in advance for your much needed help.

Hi cookware,
Welcome to the Norton Community.
I can see your safe web code on your home page but it appears that your web building program mangled the format and also put the code outside of the <head> section.
I will go ahead and submit your website for manual ownership verification. Please allow one to two days for this to take place and for the safe web team to respond to this thread. Please leave this code in place until the safe web team has validated ownership of your website.
Once the owner verification takes place, your website will be queued for rating evaluation.
Thanks
Allen

HI cookware,
You are very welcome. Rajesh really stays on top of things when we send him notice that a website needs manual verification.![]()
FYI: Most of us including myself are volunteers, Rajesh and others whose names are in red are Symantec employees.
Best wishes for your new website. ![]()
