Hi brkkab123,
NIS 2012 Norton Toolbar version should be 2012.6.0.1 to have enable button in FF->tools->addons->extension, If you don't have latest version, it means still patch is not applied into your system,
In order to get that patch, please run liveupdate repeatedly until it shows " your Norton product has latest updates"
Once you got the latest version (2012.6.0.1 ) Go to FF->Tools->Addons->Enable Norton toolbar addons and restart FF
Let us know how it goes ?
Thanks,
Senthil

I apparently need a direct link to that version. Live Update is reporting it's up to date, but my version is 19.5.0.145

Hi,
You have latest version 19.5.0.145 for NIS 2012.
I have asked the version of Norton toolbar (you can find it in FF->tools->addons->extension)
Could you provide the version of coFFPlg.dll from following location: C:\Program Files\Norton Internet Security\Engine\19.5.0.145 . If you have latest version 2012.6.0.1, it means that FF10 compatibility patch applied into your system
Thanks,

Hi,
Could try un installing and re installing the product , follow the below steps to un install and re install
If you use identity safe, before un-installing the previous product, take a backup of Identity safe data(ignore this step if you don't use IDsafe
Remove NIS from Start Menu or from Control Panel -> Add or Remove programs (if this is not work, follow below steps)
Please download Norton Removal Tool from following link : www.norton.com/nrt and follow the procedure which is mentioned in the link
Install the NIS and Run Live Update until you get no new updates and restart whenever it requires
Restore your Identity Safe data
Please keep your Norton product key handy to activate your product after installation or by logging into Norton account you can get the key.
Let us know how it goes?

I already uninstalled it and redownload it from My Norton Account and it still gave me 19.5.0.145. The Toolbar is still disabled in Firefox, after repeated runs of Live Update until none appear folloerd by a pc restart. Sfter the restart the numerous Live Updates and restarts are done again. Norton Toolbar is still disabled and Norton Vulnerability Protection is enabled in Firefox 10.
