US verion 18.6.0.29 installed and toolbar back in FF 4.0.1 :)

Toolbar is back here too.

I do hope this will be the end of the Firefox toolbar-saga. Would not exactly be good to have to play the waiting game each and every time Mozilla updates Firefox.

A couple of days is never a problem, but weeks is just too much to wait for a toolbar update in this day and age with drive-by downloads and such.

Is there any way I can eliminate the Norton Toolbar from Firefox? It seems to have loaded itself and has corrupted all my passwords and log ins that were in Firefox. Am less than impressed with identity safe.

Norton Identity safe should not interfere with the Firefox password facility. They are totally different mechanisms with different data. The FF pw's should still be there.You can check that in FF settings/security.

Just click on Identity safe on the toolbar and tell it to not make a new profile. If you already made a profile, delete it.

The first time Identity Safe it pops up, just answer, do not bother me again (or the like). That should do it.

You can also switch it off in Norton settings/Web settings, but that should not be necessary, if you follow instructions above.

If your program has updated to version 18.6.0.29 the toolbar is compatible for Firefox 4.0.1.  Check Support > About to find your product version.  If you have not received the update, you should get it shortly.  You can try running LiveUpdate to obtain the update.

Thank you for the support! I can know brows without problems, exept when the internet connection is out... :P
