Did you just renew or did you upgrade?
The newer version may have different threshold settings. What may not have triggered an alert before, may with the new version. You can control the aggressiveness of the alerts....Settings - General - Performance Monitoring - Resource Threshold Profile for Alerting. You can set it to low, medium or high depending on how many alerts you want to see.
