Hello. This morning, I started windows 7, but it suddenly began a startup repair, saying that windows did not start properly. I let it run through its scan, but it could not fix anything. I then tried a system restore, but it did not work completely either. Feeling there were no other options, I shut down the computer manually and let it restart. Once it was complete, it started up like normal. The only problem was Norton Internet Security 2012 wasn't working properly because of an error code. They recommended I reinstall it, so I did. Things seem to be working fine now, but what I'd like to know us what could've prompted the startup repair, could it happen again and how can I prevent it? Thanks!
