Norton internet security

I have recently updated my Norton from free trial and it keeps coming up with the at risk message, I open the file and the antivirus is turned off I go to turn it on but it wont turn on. Is there anything IM doing wrong.

Re: Norton internet security

How did you "update" the product?  Did you insert the purchased key in the trial or did you install the new product on top of the trial product?

I bought the new product from the site and clicked renew then added the code but it was off on the trial version that's why I bought the new version

Re: Norton internet security

So can you try the same things here as well? Open the product, click Renew at the bottom, enter the 25 digit/character code you have, and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Also when you open the product, click Support > About, and let us know the version number you have.

Re: Norton internet security

What happens when you try to paste the code? Do you get any error message? And what is the first letter of your code? is that a "J", or a "V", or a "T" ? (Please do not paste the entire code, we just need the first letter).

Re: Norton internet security

That seems to be a Norton SystemWorks Product Key, which will not work for Norton Internet Security. Do you have a Product Code which starts with the letter "J"?

Also how many letters are there in your code? 25?
