Norton on broken computers

I bought Norton Internet Security 2012 and installed it on 3 PC's we have at home. Unfortunately 2 of the PC's crashed unexpectedly were not worth being repaired and have now been thrown away. We have a new laptop that needs an anti virus product. As it was impossible to uninstall the Norton on the old PC's does this mean I have lost out because my account shows that I have the product installed on 3 PC's whereas the reality is it's only one now? Is it possible to start afresh with my Norton account?

You can contact Live chat, explain the situation to them and they should be able to free up activations.

Malagabert --

Hot off the press .... almost .... you can now do it yourself if you go to your MyNortonAccount, install Norton Management from the Apps and it should list the installations with a Dustbin alongside.

See this message for details.

http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Internet-Security-Norton/Trying-to-understand-quot-Licensed-In...

Norton Management has the advantage that you can give user friendly names to your computers if you have more than one, but you have to do this by installing it on each computer which won't apply here, otherwisie you may have to do a bit of thinking to work out which is which perhaps by date/time of activation ...

If you don't want to do this and don't get a reply from the email contact soon please try the OnLIne CHAT which works via the computer, not a phone:

To contact customer support Click on this link https://www.norton.com/chat  and work on from there.

Please let us know how you get on ....
