Why should it show a cancelled scan as the last scan run?

Have you checked in Norton History, under Scan Results for cancelled scans?

Same thing here. I checked my history and those cancelled scans are NOT recorded... but if I manually start a scan and then cancel it, those are being recorded.

All,
Let me see if I'm understanding what's happening here.
If an idle time scan starts and gets interrupted by 'whatever' there is no record of the incomplete scan.
If a manual scan is started and then aborted or interrupted there is a record.
Is this what's happening or is it something else?
Thanks

Yes... try it yourself.
Also, if I cancel a scan (one that is started manually), the status will say "complete" although it is "canceled." Same applies to "Full scans." Just start a full scan through the "Norton window" and then stop it. After that go to Norton task and check the status. It would say complete together with however long the scan ran for (let's say you let the scan run for 3 second and then cancel it. It would say duration 3 second. Status: Complete). However, if you click on Full Scan in the Norton task and then stop it, it would show cancel. But this does not apply to quick scan. Both manual start through UI or the Norton task would show "complete."

Amy753,
Thanks, I'll do some testing and see if I can get it back to the staff for review and repair.
