I have had three successful updates now. 
Like rkasse, "the problem seems to have resolved itself".

The last update for 360 (to 6.2.0.9) seems OK. Sloved the ccsvcht.exe problem it appears. If you do not have the lastest version of 360, go to their site and download it manually.

Live update problems happen. The usual solution for me is to take a short break, reboot and try again. To date, I think the worst case was three breaks before everything was back to normal.

Please don't ask why - the only ones who might be able to answer that question are the servers and the last time I visited them they refused to reveal any of their secrets. something about my being only human and unable to understand their logic or the speed at which they operate.
