Orphan cleanup

Please excuse my ignorance but can someone tell me what Orphan cleanup is when listed with tracking cookies. On the non ignorant side i have upgraded 2010 to 2011 . Well done Norton the best around Thanks.

Good question ... I wouldn't mind knowing what Orphan Cleanup is.

 

Although I really don't worry about cookies .....

An "orphan cookie" is a cookie that is stored in the Temporary Internet Files folder but does not have a "parent cookie" in the Internet Explorer index file.

 

They are not harmful or anything.

So cleaning Temp files would get rid of them anyway ..... ?
