Hi ,
It is not because of the installation went wrong. Norton program is not compatible with MS Outlook 64 Bit .

Welcome,
I'm running W7 current, NIS2012 and Office2010 without any known [to me] problems. Tell us a bit more about how you installed NIS2012 and your ooperating system so we can have a better idea of what to suggest to resolve your problem.
Thanks

Hello dickevans
thanks for Your answer, are You running Outlook 2010 64 bit version ? and can You see the antispam buttons on it ?
probabily You have Windows 7 64 bit and outlook 2010 32 bit, and this combination works, the problem is Outlook 2010 64 bit. a Symantec answered just now Internet security 2012, is not compatible with Outlook 2010 64 bit, that's a pity.
Thank You anyway

Hi orsom51
As of now Norton programs will not support 64 bit applications like MS Outlook 64 bit. It is because of Symantec is having Enterprise programs that support 64 bits applications.

Hi orsom51,
Currently, we do not support the 64-bit versions of Outlook (for the AntiSpam toolbar). Spam filtering can still occur at the port level, you'll will just need to manually create the rules to move messages tagged with [Norton AntiSpam] in to the Junk Folder.
Office 64bit support is hard to come by for many plugins at this time. Microsoft is even encouraging users to install the 32bit version and not the 64 bit version:
By default, Microsoft Office 2010 installs the 32-bit version of Office 2010 even if your computer is running 64-bit editions of Windows.
IMPORTANT: The 32-bit version of Office 2010 is the recommended option for most people, because it prevents potential compatibility issues with other 32-bit applications, specifically third-party add-ins that are available only for 32-bit operating systems.
Office 2010 provides support for the 32-bit version of Office 2010 programs running on 64-bit operating systems by using WOW64, a compatibility environment provided by the operating system that allows a 32-bit application to run on a Windows 64-bit operating system. Using the 32-bit version of Office 2010 allows people to continue to use existing third-party add-ins for Office that are 32-bit.
While I can not comment on future support/features for upcoming products or timeframes for those products, I can say that the team is evaluating this for future support but I don't have any information as to when this support will be available. The majority of users will heed Microsoft's suggestion and install the 32bit version of Outlook at this time, if they rely on support for their plugins.

Hi,
You are correct. I am running the x32 version of Office2010. As explained by Tim Lopez x64 is still in planning/development and may be a couple of versions away from release. I'm guessing that x64 support will have to become much more available before we see that release.
Sorry for the confusion
