Performance Alert, High CPU Usage

I got a performance alert and have a question about info on File Insight.

Next to CPU, it said in red letters:  47% of at least one CPU.

I'm only using one computer; so, what does "of at least one CPU" mean?  Don't understand the meaning of this.

Thanks,

Cody

Re: Performance Alert, High CPU Usage

It counts each Core as a CPU for this alert. I have a 6 core AMD CPU and if one of the cores hits the limit I get that alert.

Re: Performance Alert, High CPU Usage

Hi Cody,

Strictly FYI:

In NIS 2012, you can modify Performance Monitoring to your liking, so if a particular program is running which has high CPU/IO utilization you set set a Program Exclusion to disable monitoring for that program.

There are also a few other settings as well. See below and click here for more information on the functions.

Have fun! :smileytongue:
