Re: Persistent Trojan.ZeroAccess.B, Trojan.Gen & Trojan.Gen.2

WIth only this window on the desktop, and otherwise idle, the CPU utilization is < 5% with 3% being typical.  There is some disk thrashing, but the resource monitor suggests that this is the Symantec Service Framework (100 hard faults/sec).   Recent history shows no attacks except for the Graybird that flies in with OTL and gets quanrantined every time.

This seems a big improvement!  CPU utilization at idle used to be 15-17% with no apps open.  Clearly infested.    Do you think we've (you've) done it?  Should I still run the AVG Removal Tool?  When do I send in the kudos?  Chocalate Chip Cookies or Pizza accepted?

You are now on your own for the rest, I asked you to do something and you did not, so no point in me carrying on.

Re: Persistent Trojan.ZeroAccess.B, Trojan.Gen & Trojan.Gen.2

I apologize.  But the wording of your instructions was ambiguous in the context of the crash of OTL, which left files in an incomplete state.  I made a judgment about whether to let you fix the OTL script and complete that run before making /any other changes to the file system/ (including doing real work).  It was my belief that this is what you wanted me to do, and in no way did I intend to disregard.

I hope you will be understanding.  I've been following you here dilligently for several days through many steps.  In my time zone, it's very late, and the process is somewhat error prone after fatigue sets in.  I apologize if this requires more work from you.

I feel this is a misunderstanding.
