Hi,
I hope someone can help me out. ...bare with me, since I don't know much about computers. I had Norton Antivirus 2008 installed last year on my computer and now it expired.
I went out and bought a new box of Antivirus 2008 and tried to install over 4 times. Each time it says that my subscription is expired....I have also gone to the renew page, but the product key won't even fit into the boxes.
What do I do?
I even un-installed and then re-installed but nothing is working?
thanks

That might be correct because the number for a renew is shorter than for a new license.
I'm in v2009 now so I'm not sure where it is you can put in a new license. Isn't it under your support button?

You should just simply download the 2009 setup from trial downloads, and write your 2008 key from the box in the setup, when it needs it. NAV and NIS keys are only subscription keys since the 2006 version, and perfectly fine with the newer versions too.

Hello Me_nicegal28.
To activate Norton with the new productkey just follow the steps below.
1. Open Norton.
2. Click on Help & Support up to your right.
3. Now click Activation in the new box/page that opens.
4. Enter your productkey and click next and your product is activated and you get the correct subscription.
Please let me know if you get any problem along the way.
