Before step 4 (b)

Did you

Go to that C:\Qoobox\Quarantine\C\WINDOWS\system32  folder

Right click the system32 folder and select delete  (make sure it's not the the Windows working system32 folder haha)

 It will be moved to the recycle bin.

Then emply the recycle bin.

Now turn back on Norton and the folder for Combofix is not there to detect anymore. GONE.

Part 4. (b)

Download OTL http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/otl/

Disable Norton for say 30 minutes

Start OTL,  

Click the Scan All Users checkbox.

Change file age to 60 days

Press the 

An OTL.txt  and extras.txt will be created.

Uninstall

"avast" = avast! Free Antivirus

Don't have more than one AV installed

I have to script for the final OTL script.

Quads, after we get this cleaned up is there anything I need to do to keep this from happening in the future?  ie changing settings on my computer or installing something else to keep the viruses at bay or changing settings on my Norton's.  Thanks so much for all your help.
