Pricing

Why is a renewal of Norton priced at $54.99 when a new purchase is $49.99?

Re: Pricing

None of us knows why .... but we are mere techno-peons and pricing is marketing ....

You may find even cheaper if you go out to retail stores and check the rebates .... including Updaters Rebates ..... but beware of eBAY unless the seller is well known since we are getting reports here of invalid or used keys being sold .....

There is one plus in buying a renewal -- you can apply the activation at any time and it adds to the unexpired period whereas if you buy a new KEY it wipes out the unexpired time ..... but we've had feedback that those nice folk at Norton CUstomer Support will sometimes add the time back on if you ask them nicley by OnLine CHAT ..... <s>
