Problem with subscription

Hi, Iv just recently bought a new computer and have a huge problem.. On my previous one, I had a about 600 days of subscription with norton left. However when I tried to activate it on my newly bought computer it says, Exceeded activation limit.  I have had to reformat and install again various of times and have only changed my computer once in the last 4 years. Im at a road block here as its telling me to purchase a new subscription. I do NOT want my 600 days flushed down the drain for nothing. If anyone can help, please do so

Re: Problem with subscription

Hello Sake3838

Welcome to the Norton Community Forum

Is your program for 3 computers? If your old computer is bootable, you can uninstall the program from the old computer. That should give you a activation to use. If you continue to have problems with the activation, you can contact customer support for free via this link. Just tell them the name of the product and have your key handy. They should be able to help you with that.

This is the link for US/Can. If you need a different location, please consult your local Symantec site for the local free chat customer support link.

Please come back and let us know how you made out. Thanks.

Success always occurs in private and failure in full view.

Re: Problem with subscription

Nothing to worry about this. You just need to contact the Customer service team and provide them your Product Key. They will be able to resolve this for you. Read the following Knowledge Base article:

Error: "You have exceeded the allowable number of installs" when I activate my Norton 2010 product
