I'm now using a Dutch version of NIS2012 so... if I use an English release I get the update sooner then other languages ?

Updates are introduced gradually and carefully, so Symantec can discover if any issues come up. And remember that it takes about 3-5 days for translation.

In the mean time you are still protected, so why bother, especially if it's a minor update, like this one.

W8.1 Update 1 / W7-SP1 with IE11 and FF 30, TB 24.6, NIS2013 21.3.0.12 and N360 21.3.0.12, Android 4.2 with NMS 3.8
