I know NIS 2009 have this function " Pulse Updates "
It will auto update during 5~15 min
But how can I know the " Pulse Updates " is work ...... for " Streaming Definitions " ?
Where I can see " Pulse Updates " is work ?
They only ran during idle or not ?
And in NIS 2009 main GUI " Definition Updates " that's mean only " LiveUpdate " or includes " Pulse Updates " ?
5~15 min ? Why I can't see that ?

I found this problem in this Forum before ...
same on me ...
I still don't receive automatic streaming definitions. I have currently NIS 2009 trialware installed on Windows Vista SP1 32bit.
"Automatic LiveUpdate - Not run", "Pulse Updates - Not run". Definition Updates - 1 day ago.

The Pulse Updates are not designed to run during an idle period, as this task only takes about a second to complete.
Then....
What's the problem now ? wrong with the server ?
How to fix that ?
Why can't user set update schedule ?

What is NIS telling you about the updates?
When was the last one?

Pulse Update NOT Work !!!
I have install the NIS 2009 3 days ago...
I wait many time to look ... Never see Pulse Update work
Is that about the relationship between different time zone ?
Server error ?
Or just the software self problem ?
I live in Taiwan....
OS : Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 x86
Security : Norton Internet Security 2009 ( Traditional Chinese version )
