I am just trying to set up Identity Safe in I-E 9. I do not use the 64-bit version of course, the Norton Toolbar working well since I first installed Win 7.....about 3-weeks ago!
I'm afraid I am not too sure of the setting up procedure, particularly relating to Logins and, indeed, I'm not clear as to exactly what the Identity Cards, Logins and Notes offer when I do get them installed!
Are there any articles that could help me? The info with Norton 360 is, to me, rather lacking in detail.
Regards.....

Hi fotobits,
Here's some additional info on Setting up ID Safe - hope it helps.
Setting up Identity Safe
The Identity Safe component in Norton 2012 can be set up through the Settings page. If you are accessing Identity Safe for the first time, the Identity Safe Setup dialog launches when you click Logins or Cards under the Web Protection category on the main user interface. The Web Protection category is visible when you click Advanced on the main user interface to change to the advanced view mode.
To set up Identity Safe
1 Launch Norton 2012.
2 On the main user interface, click Settings.
3 Click on the Web tab to access the Web category.
4 On the Web tab, click on the Identity Safe sub-category to access its configurable option on the right side of the page.
Note that on this page you can enable or disable the Identity Safe component, and configure it to alert you when you are not logged on to an available profile.
5 Click on the Configure link next to the Identity Safe Setup options. This action launches the Set Up Identity Safewizard.
On the SetUpIdentity Safe dialog, you have the option to create an online vault. Click Login to Norton Account to log on to your Norton Account. The LogintoNortonAccount dialog lets you create a Norton Account if you don't have any.
Logging on to your Norton Account adds the Store information online through your Norton Account option to the Set Up Identity Safe dialog.
6 Provide the password and a password hint for the new Identity Safe profile, and do one of the following:
■ Select the Store information online through your Norton Account option if you want to create an online vault
■ Do not select the Store information online through your Norton Account option if you want to create a local vault.
7 Click Create.
Also, here are some references for you to look over to answer some of your other questions:
Edit Cards: https://www-secure.symantec.com/norton-support/jsp
Edit Logins
Edit Notes: https://www-secure.symantec.com/norton-support/jsp
I hope that covers everything.

I agree with mp3jo and strongly suggest studying the tutorial. You do not want to rush through it. Study it! Identity Safe is great for quick sign-in's to websites and accounts.

As a direct result of the help I have received from you all....Yank, Jo, g_cafe_c and Sentil, I have set up two Card entries and nineteen Logins! Additionally, I have backed Indentity Safe onto a memory stick, 'though Ghost will take care of it on a reglar basis.
I am very grateful to you all. Many thanks.....what a great Forum!
