I have a question I had still 98 days remaining days , But I buy a new product key today .
My question is next.
The new Product Key is not expired ? or I had to use right now or wait the 98 days.

Hi checo,
You can wait the 98 days - however I would recommend you use the new key about 2 days prior to expiration in case you run into any problems. That will give you sufficient time to clear up the difficulties (if any). Yes will lose the two days, but nopt the other 96! ![]()

Are you saying that if I enter a new product key I will lose all remaining days?

Yes. Entering a new product key will start you with 365 days. Hence, the recommendation to not enter the new key until you only have a couple of days left on the old key.
When you renew an existing key, the 365 days will be added to whatever remaining days are left on the key. But not so with a new key.

ken,
As Nikki says using a new key wipes out any unexpired time since it counts as a new installation of a new product -- that's the difference from a Renewal.
But if you do this by accident all is not lost since the Norton Online Support team have a great reputation for a quick and friendly approach to problems and are known to restore the lost days. But it's best to avoid asking them since it is a nice gesture they make and not a right!
We can give you the link if you ever need it.

Thanks to all for your quick responses. I was about to apply the new product key but saw the note about the remaining days not being added to the new year. So I will wait and it will be fine.
