This problem was caused by RPC Virus, a known computer virus. To prevent this problem from occurring again, install and run an up-to-date antivirus and antispyware program on your computer.

thought I'd post this, and see why Microsoft can find this, and FLAG it, however N360 v5b125 never detected it.
Its not effecting anything on the computer at all, but, I'd really like to get rid of it. And as you can see, Microsoft wants me to go online and download tool to remove it.

Microsoft is not generally known for including redundant phrases like "RPC Virus virus" and "RPC Virus, a known computer virus" in its documentation. Are you sure this is a Microsoft alert and not a fake warning from a rogue program?
Were you browsing when a popup occurred to inform you about "RPC Virus?" What were the circumstances that led to this notification?
Download, update and run a scan with the FREE version of Malwarebytes' (Use the blue download button). Malwarebytes' is very good at finding and removing rogue AV applications.

actually, it was a Microsoft FLAG.. click the flag, and it tells ya whats going on in the action center.
So, I'm fairly certain it was from Microsoft..
